Properties

The main mechanism of bindii (tribulus terrestris) is related to its action on hormones. In men, the herb increases the luteinizing hormone by which testosterone is formed. In women, the herb does not increase testosterone but regulates hormonal balance.

Bindii demonstrates antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, reduces blood pressure, promotes heart rhythm and cholesterol, and helps regulate thrombocyte levels in the blood. Potential benefits of the herb are also reported in cases of prostate hyperplasia. In addition, bindii shows promising results in tissue protection and detoxification of the liver in cases of high levels of heavy metals such as cadmium and mercury.

Standardized water-ethanol extract (62-68%) of Bindii /Tribulus terrestris/ – Bulgarian origin

Dosage

30-40 drops, dissolved into 50ml of table water or juice 2- 3 times daily before meal.
